Mining Industry Hazards and the Explosion Protection Equipment Market
The extraction of coal, precious metals, and essential minerals requires humans and heavy machinery to operate deep beneath the earth's surface. To halt this progression, passive water troughs or concentrated rock dust barriers are suspended from the tunnel roof. The shockwave preceding the fireball shatters these barriers, creating a dense cloud of water or inert dust that instantly quenches the flame and prevents the explosion from propagating throughout the entire mine network.
