As we approach December 2025, the most effective Arc Raiders guns and weapons were put in order. From pathetic pistols to superweapons that are S-tier. Arc Raiders guns are used for different purposes - they are used to fight robots and other guns for PvP. It's not as simple to say that one gun is better than another. However, this isn't a reason to not have some outstanding weapons, so here are the top weapons and meta weapons you can find in Arc Raiders, with explanations of how best to use each one and what's unique about them (or not). Also, our list of weapons tiers is checked and updated constantly to ensure you have the most powerful weapons available to go at any time!
We've evaluated the weapons based on a range of criteria that are based on a "payment instead of reward" theory. Rarer and more expensive weapons, such as the Aphelion must offer the same excellent reward. For example the Venator is, in a strict sense more powerful than the Burletta in the sense of numbers even after being nerfed but the Burletta's easier to acquire or craft and has a superior performance. The following are the elements we consider when evaluating weapons on our top tiers.
Performance in PvP. How well the weapon works during fights with other players. Speed of use, distance and quick reload times are important for this type of fight.
Performance of the PvE. The weapon's performance overall against Arc robots. For this, armor-piercing and precisely targeted shooting are essential.
Affordability. The cost of creating the weapon, the rarity of the Arc Raiders blueprints or the price to purchase it from a seller.
Community response. Obviously we test weapons ourselves but we do our best to examine the latest trends in the community in the meta to gain insight and feedback to inform our ideas, aswell in examining the most popular weapons to determine which players are most likely to go up against in PvE. For instance, the current appeal of the Kettle.
The most impressive build. We're evaluating the weapons in their best form - fully equipped, and what they can accomplish with correct attachments. Meta does not support second-tier options.
It's all very well and good to bring along the top guns to go on the trip, but making sure you are well-stocked is essential to survival and extracting. So ensure that you know how to call in Arc Raiders supply drops. Do not run out of ammunition.
S Tier weapons
Ferro: Common, Battle Rifle, Heavy Ammo
This basic bolt action rifle is a powerful weapon, great against Arc and is extremely inexpensive to construct. It's also the most effective long-range weapon, able to make precision headshots as well as target weak points without issue.
Kettle: Common, Assault Rifle, Light Ammo
Incredibly robust in PvE and costing peanuts to craft, the Kettle is a great mid- to close range weapon, if you manage its recoil and stay on the goal. Put a larger magazine on it and you'll be able to down most players without having to refill your gun.
Anvil: Uncommon, Pistol, Heavy Ammo
You'll want to carry the Anvil in your bag as a backup weapon. It's a single action hand cannon which can inflict a significant amount of damage particularly with headshots. It can shatter ARC enemies armor easily. Not only that, but its excellent range makes it a good weapon for most scenarios.
A Tier weapons
Stitcher: Common, SMG, Light Ammo
The recoil of this SMG can be a bit bruising. However, players who are able to control it as well as have a grip fitting stock will be able use controlled shots at close range to take out enemies.
Burletta: Uncommon, Pistol, Light Ammo
The Burletta is perfect it's a mid-range weapon that is a great choice for many encounters, and also has a universality. It's an excellent choice if you're not sure what else to bring. It can be very effective in fast-drawing shooting contests of PvP although it's unlikely to damage Arc armor.
Renegade: Rare, Battle Rifle, Medium Ammo
This lever action gun from Western Canada is a versatile, good alternative to the Ferro that's a bit more designed for medium range and PvP. You should be firing from an elevated position, but if you manage to get headshots in, you'll cause a lot of damage.
Tempest: Epic Assault Rifle with Medium Ammo
Another weapon that's usually universal is the all-purpose Tempest destroys targets but it's pretty costly to build. This weapon is better suited for PvP than its cousin Bettina because it's more easy to control, requires less ammunition, and has less effective armor penetration.
Equalizer: Legendary, Special, Energy Clips
The minigun is powerful, but isn't powerful enough to justify the crazed steps to get. It can destroy armor and can do amazing things with Arc. However, it is too slow to be used against other players.
Aphelion: Battle Rifle and Energy Clips
You'll have to take down an Matriarch to build the Aphelion and, as such, isn't strong enough to justify the absurd distances required to obtain it. It's still a powerful weapon however it's better suited to PvP. It's a rifle for battle that is a great choice for longer distances, which allows it to knock down any kind of target.
