Oitijhyo Sarbojonin Cultural Association is preparing to celebrate its first Sharodiya Durgotsav from 16 to 21 October 2026 at Hinjawadi Phase 2, bringing pujo, culture, food, participation and community spirit closer to residents of Pune's growing IT corridor.

There is something special about Durga Puja when it happens close to home.

This October, that experience is coming closer to residents of Hinjawadi and surrounding neighbourhoods.

Oitijhyo Sarbojonin Cultural Association will celebrate its first Sharodiya Durgotsav from 16 to 21 October 2026 at Sitai Banquet Hall, near Aarham Food Court, Bhatewara Nagar, Hinjawadi Phase II, Pune 411057.

A Little Bit of Bengal, Much Closer to Home

For many Bengali families living in Pune's IT corridor, Durga Puja has traditionally involved travelling across the city to find a familiar celebration.

Oitijhyo wants to change that experience.

The location in Hinjawadi Phase 2 is designed to make the festival accessible to residents of Hinjawadi Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3, as well as families and professionals living around Wakad, Maan, Marunji, Tathawade and neighbouring communities.

For many Bengalis, Durga Puja is incomplete without bhog.
